Call for Proposals: 2012 UAMS Teaching with Technology Symposium

The 2012 UAMS Teaching with Technology Symposium seeks presentations, workshops and posters focused on this year’s theme—Engaging Our Students: Technology & Active Learning.

Priority will be given to proposals addressing active learning, blended learning, flipped classrooms, mobile technology, ebooks and storytelling in teaching and learning.

Proposals are being accepted for posters, 50 minute sessions, 10 minute lightning sessions, 1 hour, 25 minute workshops and 2 hour, 45 minute workshops.

Conference fees will be waived for presenters.

The UAMS Teaching with Technology Symposium is 2-day conference and networking event open to all educators and technology enthusiasts, including faculty, administrators, librarians, curriculum developers and instructional designers.

The deadline for submissions is April 6, 2012. Presenters will be notified by April 13, 2012.
